= major delays yellow on traffic map = some delays green on traffic map = no delays milwaukee police arrest 10 people in the sherman park neighborhood gathered at the memorial for sylville smith. deandra corinthios is live near sherman park with the latest this all happened in the area of 44th and auer...the intersection where sylville smith was shot and killed by a milwaukee police officer earlier this month. mpd says there was a crowd of about 30-40 people. they arrested 10 people for disorderly conduct...and for resisting an officer.

complaints about crowds gathering in the area from neighbors. around 8 pm...police asked the crowds to disperse...when they say officers observed violations of the law. 20 minutes later police say they asked the crowd to leave again. some did...but other refused. that is when police started making arrests. fox6 has confirmed that state representative jonathan brostoff was in the area last night...and was detained by milwaukee police...and later released. brostoff tells fox6 he's being going to the ar o basis" to "maintain calm", "de-esclate" and "get policy ideas." police had the scene cleared by 9:45 p-m officers continued to patrol the area after that...and no further issues were reported. live near sherman park dc fox6 news. meanwhile... a group of kids is looking to make a difference in the sherman park

youth empowerment organization that works to bring resources to young people so that they can become more productive. the visit will feature a tablet giveaway as well as discussions for long-term plans for jobs. the activities all start at four o'clock. happening now - police are investigating a triple shooting on milwaukee's northwest side. kim's following this story live in the newsroom. one of the three men who were shot... died from his injuries. police were called near 27th and vine a little before one yesterday sure why gunfire broke out. but a teenager was one of the victims taken to the hospital. this is the third murder in 2 days and the 90th in milwaukee so far this year. you know there's been a lot of killings lately. so it's just really sad. it's scary. everything is going haywire around here. a lot of people is just dying. again-- no suspects are in

we're learning new information... on a man who was fatally stabbed early monday morning. angelica's in studio with the latest. milwaukee police say 32-year-old shawn ostrom was stabbed to death on the lower east side outside of a bar. two suspects-- a 45-year-old oak creek man and a 20-year-old greenfield man are now in custody. officials say the stabbing stemmed from an argument between ostrom and people he knew. ostrom was a chef at the pfister. this morning... a hotel spokeswoman "we have lost one of our respected colleagues and work family members. our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends." some of ostrom's friends gathered last night.... near the spot where he was killed. the investigation is ongoing. a trial begins today for a milwaukee police officer accused of harassing a woman. 42-year old edmund estacio is charged with disorderly conduct. the alleged incident happened in brown deer last may. a woman claimed she had received

then she claims he came to her apartment and started banging on her window estacio has been suspended-- pending the outcome of the criminal investigation. today is the final pre-trial hearing for one of three men charged in the death of 5-year old laylah petersen. carl barrett is scheduled to stand trial next month on reckless homicide charges. petersen was shot inside her home back in november of 2014 investigators say barrett and arlis gordon were looking for revenge -- and opened fire on the wrong house. gordon also faces his trial is set for october. paul farr -the accused getaway driver - is charged with aiding a felon. it's a big weekend for college football... with games kicking off across the country. but coming up - we'll tell you about an investigation - that's sending a u-s-c player to the sidelines. plus - just into our newsroom - chris brown... bailing out of jail... after a nearly 14 hour long standoff with police. what he's charged with - straight ahead. and terrifying moments at a mall. what led to a parking lot shootout.

wind: ne 5-10 mph charges of assault with a deadly weapon. he was released after posting 250- thousand dollars bail overnight. the charges come after a woman called 9-1-1 yesterday morning accusing brown of pulling a gun on her after an argument over jewelry. police say brown stayed inside his suburban l-a home for nearly 14 hours... and refused to come out until officers showed up with a search warrant. if you recall, brown was put on probation in 2009 after pleading guilty to attacking singer rihanna, his

8 pm and 9:45 pm last night. police say they were getting complaints from people in the neighborhood about crowds gathering near 44th and auer. police say residents of the sherman park neighborhood asked mpd for help restoring order. around 8 pm police asked a crowd of about 30 to 40 people to leave when they say officers observed violations of the law. they asked the crowd to disperse again about twenty minutes later... some left, but others refused to leave...and mpd began making arrests. again...10 people were arrested. state representativ the area last night he was detained by mpd...and later released. reporting live in the sherman park neighborhood dc fox6 news. meanwhile... a group of kids is looking to make a difference in the sherman park neighborhood. the kids first initiative is a youth empowerment organization that works to bring resources to young people so that they can become more productive. the visit will feature a tablet

long-term plans for jobs. the activities all start at four o'clock. they don't know what killed her... but family members know how kristina fee-brink fiebrink would up in a milwaukee county jail cell. now they're speaking out - nicole with the latest in the newsroom. kristina fee-brink 's family is speaking out... and warning others to stay straight and clean after the woman's death inside a cell. 38-year-old kristina fee-brink fiebrink was in custody for resisting an officer after police tried to arrest her on a felony warrant. she spent four found unresponsive. fiebrink's family say she was addicted to drugs-- and they want others to learn from her situation. they are using elephant tranquilizers to try and cut the heroin now fentanyl which is so much more potent its time we start changing and being a good example fiebrink leaves behind siblings, children and grandchildren. once again the cause of her death is still being investigated... the

results are currently on non- disclosure. through july, the medical examiner has certified 161 drug overdose deaths. thats up about ten percent from 2015. it's a facebook status... that ended with felony charges. police say a suspect beat a man with a brick - but they didn't have to look far for an alleged confession. fox 6's bret lemoine has this exclusive: greenfield police sergeant chris deglopper da-gloppe investigated at a home near this intersection in may. a woman called police... cd 'reporting that there was a fight involving her boyfriend and a friend.' according to the criminal complaint, 36 year old brian schwochert walked up to the other man with closed fists... shouting: 'i came here for you, .'schwochert allegedly punched the victim... knocking him to the ground. cd 'he had been hit by something extremely hard - he thought it was a rock - multiple times.' the man was allegedly hit with

significant, the victim required six stitches. investigators say schwochert was gone by the time police arrived on scene... but a tip lead them to schwocherts facebook page... and a bombshell post. cd 'ive never seen someone provide such a confession on social media.' schwochert makes reference to kicking the victim with his blood-stained steel- toed boots. ' i also smashed 2 bricks, yes, concrete bricks over his head. he ran crying and screaming for police,' he allegedly wrote. 'why would i 'well find out... if i have a trial. trust me, this deserved it.' now schwochert can post a new status update... one that shows him facing a felony count of substantial battery. cd 'i wish that every offender edit would go home and do the same thing - put it out on facebook for everybody to see. it sure would make our job a lot easier.' bl 'we are not naming the victim, but we did stop by his home for comment tuesday afternoon. no one answered the door. we also reached out to schwocherts

greenfield, bl, fox6 news.' happening now - two milwaukee mothers say they are waiting for justice... after their sons were hit and killed while they rode their motorcycles earlier this month. 25-year-old deangelo maxwell and 36-year-old james morris were struck and killed at 6th and mckinley. the driver of the truck who hit them was initially arrested. a medical examiner's report indicates were noted in the back seat of the truck" and "a marijuana pipe could be seen laying on the ground..." charges for homicide were pending-- but just two days after the crash, the driver was released from custody. he killed my baby...this is crushing me and killing me. it looks like there is no justice, not when you let a person out. the milwaukee county district attorney's office says the case is still under review for additional evidence related to accident reconstruction.

accused in a fatal shooting outside a milwaukee police station will have a preliminary hearing this afternoon. 65-year-old randall drescher faces one count of reckless homicide. police say drescher along with another man were sitting in a van outside the police station at 27th and kinnickinnic earlier this month. officers say those two men got into an argument with 42-year-old reed carlsen. at one point -- drescher alled gun... shooting and killing carlsen. the former cudahy police dispatcher accused of stealing parking ticket money is also expected in court today. prosecutors say melissa mueller was caught on camera pocketing the cash. she has since resigned from her job. her preliminary hearing is scheduled for this afternoon. also due in court today-- the man accused of sexually assaulting and waterboarding a woman in racine. 29-year-old michael martinez will have his preliminary hearing later

woman's face and then poured water on it to try to get information out of her. she says she felt like she was drowning.... and that it went on for quite some time. if convicted -- martinez could spend up to 40 years in prison. developing right now in chicago - the police department is moving to fire five officers... over the laquan mcdonald shooting. angelica's following that story and more from across america. chicago's police superintendent... eddie johnson... filed administrative charges yesterday seeking the removal of five officers. who shot mcdonald 16 times in october 2014. the officers are charged with giving false reports - suggesting an attempted cover-up. at least two of the officers have been involved in misconduct cases before. the matter now goes before the chicago police board. meanwhile... police in santa monica are searching for a home invasion robbery suspect... who shot the homeowner... while wearing a "scream" mask. because of that mask - police say they don't even know the gender of the suspect. police say several people were in the house at the

no word yet if the robber managed to steal anything. the victim was taken to a hospital... and is now stable. nearly a dozen kayakers are recovering this morning, after being hit by a ferry in the hudson river. investigators say the boat plowed into the 11 kayakers as it was pulling out of the port. four suffered injuries that needed medical care... including one victim who suffered a deep laceration to the elbow. the captain passed drug and alcohol tests. officials believe "sun glare" may have been a factor. spokesman and senior commander is killed in northern syria. the group says abu muhammed al- adnani was martyred"' - and members are threatening to avenge his death. the death would be the latest blow to the group, which has been on the retreat in syria and iraq. adnani has delivered fiery sermons urging followers to carry out attacks. developing this morning - law

could publicly release its report on the hillary clinton email probe - as early as today. the agency is expected to also release notes of their interview with the presidential nominee. but - some items are not expected to be released today. those include additional notes from interviews involving clinton aides... and some other investigative material that was sent to congress. also happening today - donald trump... meeting with mexican president enrique pena neito. the surprise meeting is scheduled just hours before trump is set to deliver a president pena nieto's office tweeted that both trump and hillary clinton have been invited for bilateral relations dialogues. pena nieto's meeting with trump would be extraordinary, given trump's pledges to build a border wall and make mexico pay for it. it comes after months of harsh words between trump and mexico's leaders - including pena nieto comparing trump to hitler and mussolini. happening right now - residents of hawaii's big island... are preparing for
